Why it matters
When a site has authenticated areas, an agent that wants to operate on the user's behalf needs to know how to register and obtain credentials — without that, it gets stuck at the first login screen. auth.md documents this flow in a way both humans and agents can read, so authentication does not become an invisible barrier that only those who already know the system can get through.
